Boisrond François was a French painter born March 24, 1959 in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine). 
He is the son of Annette and filmmakers Michel Boisrond WademantIl. He studied at the National School of Decorative Arts (Paris), where he met Hervé Di Rosa, with whom he began the movement of « Free Figuration » with Combas and Remi Blanchard, among others. Boisrond is a professor of painting at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, since 1999. Francois lives and works in Paris. He is described as the "painter of happiness."
